Where our BIPOC and queer communities are woven together in liberation and joy.
A place to just be.
The mission of Third Space is to create a collective, trauma- and equity-informed community space to just be. A space in between work and home that inspires reflection, creativity and joy in our communities and generates capacity for liberation and justice and to build our legacies together.
Creating Space
Creating space for liberation necessitates intersectionality that accounts for the accessibility for all, including our neurodivergent and disabled folks. At Third Space, users can engage with the space by participating in programs and attending events centered around principles of belonging, justice, equity, diversity and inclusion. Programs and events will be intentionally designed with BIPOC and queer communities in mind so as to foster collective healing.
Healing Space
The historical context of BIPOC communities includes experiences of trauma, such as colonization, slavery, and systemic oppression. These shared historical injustices contribute to stress and mental health challenges, emphasizing the importance of creating spaces for healing and support.
Community Space
Third Space creates and provides a community space for individuals to gather, collaborate, and engage in various activities. This space is designed to promote well-being and a sense of community and belonging.
Just vibe.
